Dear friend I empathize with your situation. Losing fat is not an easy process and there is so much conflicting advice out there it's almost impossible to know who to believe in this area. I have tried a number of different diets and training programs over the years with varying degrees of success but none of them lived up to their word.

Let's be honest! If losing fat were easy then you would not be reading this in the first place. I began training as a teenager over 20 years ago - I started when I was 15 and am now 40. I had low energy, got sick fairly often, and felt bad about my appearance. No matter what I tried I could not get the results I was looking for. I did make some progress from the programs I used, but there was a lot of wasted effort. I would spend up to two hours in the gym working my butt off while following the latest fad diet. Little did I know I was overtraining by following the exercise programs featured in the latest fitness magazine. Actually, the diets that I were on contributed to my health problems. One diet does not fit all and don't let anyone tell you otherwise!

After years of much research using myself as a guinea pig, my fitness training clients and speaking to experts in the health and fitness industry, I finally cracked the code.   1. Similarities between this and other products using the 12 week approach. While there ARE some similarities between this and other packages in the market, there are also some noticeable differences. A popular book that sold really well offered its' readers a program to follow for 12 weeks claiming that anyone, regardless of their level, could follow and benefit from the guidelines in the book. Let me be the first to tell you that One program does not fit all! I have found that there are 3 levels of trainee: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Each one requires different exercises, supplements and diets to ensure maximal fat loss while gaining muscle.
  2. Why many 12 week programs do not work. While there will be some improvement by following a program for 12 weeks, a number of programs fail for the same reason – the trainee reaches a plateau and doesn't make any more gains! The body is a very adaptive organism and will become accustomed to any program in a relatively short period of time. How long should one be on the same program? It depends but in the majority of cases I have come across, one should change programs every 4 weeks for optimal results. There is a balance between continuity and variety. Too much variety and the body does not get the full benefit from the program. Too much continuity and you reach that dreaded plateau. Not only do the exercise programs change monthly but so do the nutrition and supplement programs.
  3. One diet does not fit all. Do you have food allergies/intolerances? If so, they may be holding back your fat loss efforts even though you are eating healthy, organic foods. How do you discover if you DO have problems with certain “healthy” foods? This package covers the tests to take to discover YOUR problem foods. It's not the same for everyone!
  4. Why starting a program immediately can be detrimental to your progress. If you have been relatively inactive for a period of time and have followed a poor lifestyle, going ‘cold-turkey' and jumping into something that you may not be ready for can be a huge shock to your system.
